On May 1st, 2011, Osama Bin Laden was killed by a U.S. attack force in Abbottabad, Pakistan. President Barack Obama made the announcement to the world late that night. Unsurprisingly, Twitter exploded at the news. Using software written in the Processing programming language I was able to collect 73,000 tweets that had "bin laden" as keywords.
